My 2nd single “Rise” is about the conflict between our spiritual self and city self. The spiritual self can be cruel, makes us depressed, suicidal, sick.. but all of those are gifts as the are showing us we are not living the life we should live. The spiritual self is like a samurai, merciless to our clean polished image of our city self. The catchline of the song is “ill rise at sunrise to make you fall .. "
I wrote this song in India , when I stopped drinking alcohol .. This is where I met Magnolea and after jamming on this song together for 2 years we decided to record it.
